Anyone giving homemade cooked vegetables to their babies? If yes, how?
Can we give raw tomato to babies?

hi ishi,

yes i tried tomato (cooked and peeled), she didn't like it. My baby is 9.5 months old, you can try steaming cubes carrots, greenbeans, peas, etc together and give it to her. How old is your baby? Mine likes finger foods like banana puffs and cherios so I am doing cubes, you can mash veggies if she hasn't started finger foods and mix with khichri or rice+dal.

love to ur lil'l one

Thanks Shikha and Tina,

My son is 9 months old. I have tried giving him potato and bottle gaurd, but he refused to take. I tried vegetable soup also, but that also fails.

Now i will try to give him spinach, peas, etc. Let's see!!

Love to ur lil'l ones.

Ishi,

How old is your baby. My daughter is 8.5 mths old and my doc says that I can give her all veg after cooking them properly so that we can mash them and give it to them. I have tried bottle gaurd, potato, cucumber, tomato, spinach with her. As every child she only prefers tomatoes. rest every thing she puked out. but i think I will have to keep trying on regular basis.
