Dear Friends This is Keerthi from Vijayawada. I am doing my Btech in prestegeus college. Just two days back my mom told to me our family members will be go to Thirupathi for her vow. First i think that she offer some money or Dharshan. Yester day my mom said to my sister and myself both will be Tonsured at Tirupathi. My sister she is Doing her MBBS at Delhi. I feel very much Tenssion about that kindly advise. And my mother not convense by us.

Just last week my family and myself went to Thirupathi. My dad had take a VIP cottage by the M.P quota. we reached Tirurapathi Morning at 7.30am. then we had bresh and freshup at our cottage. My Mummi asked my father to we to Kalyanakatta. My dad discussed with us all r went to Kalanakatta or the barber come here. I try to convence to my mother once againg to thing our head shaving but she didnt changs so my sister and me come to shave to our heads. then I told to my father took to barber at our cattage. He agreed my proposal. Then went to Ticket counter and take 4ticket for tansuring all. but my hart is beating very fastly because of this is my first tonsure on my young age. My father took the barber at our cottage.

The barber he' s middle age person and asked us to bring the water to we our hair. He told to us go and wet our hair. first my father wet his hair and sit infront of the barber. The barber started the shave his head and compleated with in 3mins.

My mum asked me to go. i afrid to sit fron of barber. the barber wet to my hair and make to parts to my hair and take the new blad and bend to my head started to shave. some bunch of hair fall down but i feel sad. but it' s going on....
then one side compleated then he take another side and started the shaving back side the told to me shaving was compleated.

Then my Younger sister come and sit infront of barber and the barber compleated her head shaving with in 5mins. And my mother head shaving compleated.

my head is burning after shaving my mother told to me after bath she applyed the sandal paste. the it has very cool.

that day i covered my head with chunni and we visted many places. many of people saw us differently...

Next day morning we reached temple and take speal darshan and back to that nignt. but till now i feel nervous to go to collage because of they saw differently and affrid of comments.

my mother and my sister she is Medico both are told me to shve my head three moths regulary it is very good for hair . and the polution also one of the reson to hair falling.

Last sunday i went to Beauty Parlor to shved my head smoothly. the beautisian apply the fume and take razor and shaved my head smoomthly. My sister also got her head shave same.

This is my head shaving story.

Dear Radha i am girl we are two sisters my mother strongly taken decission of our owe so we are planning to go to tirupathi next week and a have lot of shevaring of this and my sister she is very dare she advise to me dont bother about it. it' s very good for hair. Because She is medico sothat she think as medico. So anybody give your suggestion for me how to maintain afer shave and i am fear about how i am go to the college. so i felt very fear about this my fother also strong about this.

I think we may go to tirupati on 2nd January.

thanks for your comments Radha replied. Keerthi, are you a boy or a girl? Please do not mistake me. I have heard this name being kept for both boys and girls. That is why I am asking you this.
There is nothing wrong or bad in your sister becoming a baldi and entering medical college. A few days after the gundu she will have enough hair for a short boycut. If you are a boy getting a gundu is no big deal. And if you are a girl, still a gundu is good. Whatever applies to your sis applies to you also.

Keerthi im too an engineering student from JNTU.tonsuring is a wonderful experience.i had hair till knees.one day suddenly my mom said tht we are going to tirupati.i thought it was a tour but as soon as we reached there, the first thing was my tonsure.my dress was filled up with bulk of hair.first i was feeling bad during tonsure but after seeing myself in the mirror i was totally satisfied wit my stunning look.also all my friends appreciated me.
its a great feeling.wow, i felt as weightless and wonderful.after 4months, 4 of my friends shruti,pavani,nithya,kajal and me went to tirupati as we all got selected in infosys.all my friends first dint agree for a headshave but as soon as i shaved my head, kajal sat in front of the barber and said only 1 thing \" shave me bald\" .By seeing kajal,shruti and pavani also took tickets and asked the barber for head shave.slowly nithya commenced for 3 cuts but after the 3 cuts,she said \" gundu cheseyyi\" .
Happily we entered the company and everyone was shocked by seeing all of us bald.our batch was called as \" beautiful bald\" batch.
