Hi everyone..
hope all had a lovely weekend. Ok tried something during the weekend that i failed :) am new to cooking chicken..praveen had got chicken breasts for anu, so i cut it into small pieces and marinated with chicken spices/coriander-cumin etc and then pan stir fried..for 15 mins..then baked in oven for 25 mins. got overcooked and was nice and even borwn but hard to eat for poor anu though she did eat two then started playing with it..anyone done any non veg cooking in oven..think its nice and healthy than fried..so tried chicken..can u give me some tips about baking and nonveg or even if veg is fine.
need to bake so outer part is easy for anu to hold but inside is soft..any help or how much time in oven or tips/recipes anything will help..anu loves non veg i can make now curry and biryani that i learnt from praveen and MIL but think baking is better for both isn't it...or what do u think..if u could come with a recipe for kids..besides mashing and adding in rice r frying..would be great.
Thanks

Hi Radhika
I usually get ground chicken coat with soya sauce and little black pepper and salt and fry with very little oil .Then i put it inside sandwhich with cheese and ketchup and Ayush likes it.
Also as per baking I marinate chicken with Yoghurt, little spice like cumin coriander, put lemon juice, salt and put it to broil. No oil.If u havea charbrioler thats below the baking compartment in oven then use that .And I keep looking at it and take it out it before it burns brown,i try to break the meat and see if the inside is cooked and soft.Best use boness for kids.

This is with oil.
Also u can try fish.I get salmon fillets and cut them in small pices.I cut onions, garlic, ginger and fry(u can use butter also instead of oil). After a while I add tomatoes and then little spices like cumin, coriander, salt and then put the fish and cover it and keep on medium heat .I turn the fish slowly after sometime and then it tastes good.

U can marinate salmon with garlic and cumin coriander and salt and either bake in oven or u can coat with egg and bed crumbs and bake in oven.

Hope these recipes helps.Baking is more healthier but the above is all I know off.
Sushmita

Hi Radhika ,
An easy Stove top chicken recipee that I make for Anoushkooo .

Put little oil in a non stick pan , put ginger garlic paste and fry for a minute then add chicken and salt . then add one katoree curd /yogurt . Cover the pan , add little butter and cook approx 30 minutes on slow fire. Then add little pepper and serve .
Chicken turns out very tender becoz of curd .

(You can add one elaich if you want and two laung cloves- optional)

Anoushkoo likes it as it has no spices at all .

take csre
