Hello friends!
I hav decided to fulfill my vow for head tonsure in next week @ palani!
My question is that is it a must to tak away mustache and eyebrow along with hair???
Also is it a must to apply sandal paste aft head shave??
If u can plz giv some instruction abt head shave at palani... since it is my first experience

Gautham, did u tonsure your head ? Do post your experience. Take lots of photos of the shave. did u apply sandal on your bald head ?

Gowtham, both as per tradition and for a clean look you must remove your mustache when going for a head shave. But never remove the eyebrows.

Congrats on your decision to get your head tonsured ! You will totally enjoy the experience, I' m sure. It is not required to shave your mustache/eyebrows. But make sure you apply lots of sandal paste on your head after the tonsure. Don' t cover your head with cap/scarf. Notice the looks you will get and revel in it ! Post your experience once you are done with your tonsure
