Hi Parents,

I have seen many parents rasing concern about their kids not speech problem. My son also have the speech problem. He is 2+ and not speaking. He is very active and sharp. He blabers but no meaning full words.. He can hear very well. He understand what we tell him. But he is not able to say it. I am very worried.

Parents who had faced similar problem with your kids PLEASE suggest what you have done to help them speak up. What should I do to help him speak.

Thanks & Regards
Deepa

A lot od physicians even today.. just ignore the whole issue by saying .. it will happen sooner or later...

though it may not necessarily be so..

its best u go see a good speech therapist who could look at ur child and tell u what needs to be done

Hi,

Boys are usually late talkers compared to girls...but no harm in helping them communicate especially if he is 2.pls go to speech therapist and ask for evaluation.how much does he understands?does he come. To you shows things?how will he ask for food,to go out or anything he wants?will he call you when he needs you like..amma,daddy..he should be doing all those..can you play with him..for eg car race or build tower?pls consult a professional..do not use wait and see approach..it builds frustration in child..give him words to communicate

Speech/language delay - 2.3 yr old boy
Hello Everyone

Our 28 months old boy is not speaking simple 2 or 3 word sentences yet. He speaks a few words such as mama, papa, aunty etc but definitely not more than 10. Also, he doesn't understand slightly longer sentences, even when we speak slowly and enact it such as "we'll go out after we eat". Otherwise, he appears perfectly normal. Shoranur kerala samajam Ayurveda hospital review
Hi All,

My son is less than 4 and has been diagnosed to be on the autism spectrum. He is non-verbal. We are taking him for OT and ABA/speech therapy.

Meanwhile, I read about an Ayurvedic hospital called Kerala Samajam hospital in Shoranur. Has anyone gone there for treatment? Any reviews?

Hints for Nursing
Babies eat and eat and eat. Although nature has done a pretty good job of providing you and your baby with the right equipment, in the beginning it's almost guaranteed to be harder than you expected. From sore nipples to tough latch-ons, nursing can seem overwhelming.
