trying to get out of an abusive marriage. Have two kids. Husband has agreed to mutual consent divorce. I dont want money but do not want to give him overnight access to my two daughters aged 7 yrs & 9 yrs. He is demanding it & i am scared that he will just use it to get back at me.
How can i avoid overnight visitation access that he is demanding?

first of all, calm down. dont be panicky. secondly, dont ever say i dotn want money. for every divorced woman who has to raise children,money is a essential commodity, i hope u agree. so with the help of a competent lawyer, see that u get anough alimony every month to support your 2 daughters, their education, other expenses, etc. i suppose u r working. thats a good thing. now this lawyer has to help u somehow to get permanent custody of your daughters. i am sure if u r able to prove in court that he is v. abusive u can even convince the judge that your husband may abuse even the daughters, so u need permanent custody. u have to fight this battle jay. may god give u enough courage and u will win, do not worry.
