hi archie,
i'm 6 weeks pregnant now.i have major doubts regarding wearing the seat belt & lap belt in my car during pregnancy.lap belt comes right up the stomach & i'm really scared that in case of sudden breaks it exerts a lot of pressure on the stomach.so plz tell what special precaution shld i take while wearing lap & seat belts & how shld i manage it.are there any different ways to wear seat & lap belts during pregnancy.plz reply archie!!!

hey ... i am due in Dec and i know what u mean :) ..

wearig the seatbelt is all the mroe important when you are pregnant and you would cause more harm to your abby by not wearing it ..

i have read that you should wear the lap belt below your bulging stomach , so that it does not irritate the uterus ...

also, it is not going to ahrm your baby in anyway ...

also just google for this and you will get surplus info ....

since u r in the early stages of your pregnancy, just try to avod jerks and pitfalls as mucha s u can(but do not stress yourself out if you are driving on an uneven road ) ...
