I happen to see this forum today and I just want to narrate one incident that happened today. Me and my girlfriend went for shopping today and on the way I told her that I will have to get a haircut, I will drop her at her place before going to the barbershop. She said she is ok in waiting for me and said would come with me to barbershop. Nearby I could find a smaller barbershop that had only a bench inside for the customers. I told her that I would go , get the haircut and she could may be talk to someone or go around the place , walk for 5 - 10 minutes and come back. But she insisted that she would come and entered the barbershop ahead of me. She asked me to sit in the chair and told barber to cut it short without even getting the nod from me. The barber wrapped me in the cloth, started cutting the hair shorter in the back and overall. Meanwhile, she had loosened her hair, was reading a newspaper , sometimes watching me. Once the barber thought it' s over, he asked her to see to which my girlfriend said still shorter - very very short. The barber without saying anything took the hand clippers, bent my head and ran it at the back and sides thus me ended up getting a haircut very short one in my lifetime. I came out with no hairs at the sides and back and top also reduced. She tipped the barber and said to me that she always wanted me this haircut once and glad that she was able to do it this time. She said may be next time she would come with me and ask the barber to do a headshave. I think she is strange. Isn' t it. Arun replied. Nitin,

You are saying about your girlfriend that she is strange. Not at all. Many women want the men in their lives to have very short hair or even no hair once in a while. Even my husband keeps his head a crew cut always - sides and back clippered close and top very short. A few months back he got his head shaved in Tirupati at my bidding. And I find him very attractive with his clippered hair cut.
So, there is nothing strange about your girlfriend' s behaviour. Only, not all girls have the guts to do like she did.
