As of now whole world know that we here in Mumbai had the heaviest rain so far over the last 100 years. That is 944 mm in a day. My son was in school. It took me 3 hrs to take him home from school. (otherwise it is 10-15 mints by school bus). I went through 5 feet water . It was really scary. But finally we all reached home and fine. Thogh mumbai still is not come back to normal. Arond 300 people are died. Some have lost there belongings and houses. We had power cut for 2 days, no phone working . One of my aunt and my nephew came home after 2 days. We did not know even where they are. Now after rain we r fearing disease outburs in some area. We really have not come back from the trauma. I am hoping for the nice weekend and same for you people

Can totally understand your pain...I have live most of my life in Mumbai and am 100% Bombayite..no matter where i live bombay is my heart and soul....

its been terrible to hear about all this...I wasnt able to get in touch with my parents for 4 days..apparently they had no electricity, no water, no phone...its very hard on senior citizens living alone...my mil who is bed ridden lives on ground floor..it was so crazy sitting here not being able to do anything....

what has touched me the most is the spirit and helping nature of mumbaikers...hopefully this shall pass...good luck and take care of your little ones....
