Name: meena Dear friends,
Am not sure if many of u know me. I have only been answering queries once in a while. I had problems conceiving and after many IUI's and 1 IVF my son was born. Now he is 1 year and 8 mths old and I am wondering when I should plan the second. We have just moved to Australia and I am feeling coping with 2 small kids will be tough. On the other hand i am 30 and am anticipating delay in conception because of my past experiences. Do u have any suggestions as to whether i should start trying or wait? It is so good to have friends like u to whom one can turn to for help and advice.

Hey,

You don't know how long it takes you to concevie. so start immediatly. Don't worry about your son. He will be alright or you can leave him for some time with your parents something when you think you can't manage it. But if you wanted t o have second kid then plan for it immediatly.

Have decided to start trying naturally. We r living abroad and our insurance doesn't cover treatment. Am keeping my fingers crossed and am hoping to get pregnant without treatment. How r things at your end?

Hi, we are planning for ivf via donor sperm as we have genetic history wherein my daughter is ASD and mine own brother is ADHD hence genetic counselor said there is risk of 15-20 percent of child being autistic if we use our own gamet. If male child is born the risk is higher than a girl child.
