Hi siri,
The 2 in 1 bottle wont damage your hair further. Only thing is that I dont know if it will work as good as separate shampoo and conditioner. But since you cannot buy seperate bottles, try the one you have brought and see if you find any change. Of course, dont worry, it wont damage your hair further. Only try to massage your hair regularly (once a week) with warm olive, coconut or almond oil the night before shampooing. Atleast it will help to keep the dryness away and make the hair roots strong. All the best. If you want any other inf. write. I'll keep on checking the messages.

Hi Siri,
U have bought 2 in 1 shampoo & conditioner. Actually shampoo & conditioner in one bottle does not help the hair much. Instead buy separate bottle of shampoo and separate bottle of conditioner. I use Loreal (Nutri vive) Revitalizing shampoo for dry or damaged hair and Loreal (Nutri vive) Revitalizing conditioner for dry or damaged hair. So take separate shampoo and conditioner, not 2 in 1. And then follow the procedure I have mentioned below in my reply to you dt. Aug 7th. Write if you want any further information. Bye and all the best.

Hi Siri,
Like u, even I used to wash my hair with Suave before I started the treatment at the parlour and I too never found any good results. Only after the treatment, I thought I should use some good quality brand named product, hence started using Loreal and I can see some good results after that. Also since I have a very dry skin, I used to apply Suave moisturiser but recently I took Nivea and now I feel Nivea is the best. All the best regd. ur hair.

Hi Siri,
Yes, u too can have the same treatment in the parlour. Oiling and conditioning the hair is best for dry hair. I too have very very dry hair. I have written to 'worried about hair' the details about the treatment, etc, pls. read that.
If u dont want to go to the parlour, then u can do it at home too. Oil ur hair with warm oil (olive or coconut) at night and massage a little bit. Next day wash ur hair with a good shampoo for dry hair (I use Loreal revitalizing shampoo for dry hair) and after shampooing apply a good conditioner (Loreal revitalizing conditioner) and keep it for 5-10 mnts (even though on the bottle it says to keep for 1-2 mnts) and then rinse away the conditioner properly. Thats it. Do this once a week and let meknow if u find any difference. U can also use any other brand shampoo like Pantene, Clairol, etc. Of course, u wont find immed. results. Might take a month or so. All the best. Let me know.

I have the same problem, my scalp is also showing in the front. I guess its because of the hard water out here (I'm in the east coast, where are u). In the east coast its hard water. I went to a parlour who suggested deep conditioning treatment. I had 4 sessions, once a week. After that I do it at home. So I suggest you show it to a beautician first and do some treatment for falling hair. Once u see what she does, u can do it at home too. Once u start doing it at home, be sure that u oil your hair before washing it. I mean warm some olive or coconut oil and massage your hair at nights. In the mornings wash off and also apply conditioner (u can buy a shampoo and conditioner from a parlour). Try it and hope it helps.

Hi,
Its surprising that the parlours dont know about the treatment whereas when I had gone to many parlours & everyone suggested that treatment for me for my hairfall. Anyway, you can easily start it at home. About the shampoo & conditioner names from the parlours, I dont know any because I dont use the parlour brand. I didnt get it because I thought it was a bit expensive there. So I took it from the stores. I use Loreal Revitalizing shampoo and Loreal Revitalizing conditioner for dry & damaged hair. What is your type of hair? Is it oily or dry? Depending upon that u can take any brand name shampoo from the stores like Walmart, Kmart, etc. There are many good brands like Loreal, Clairol and many others which I cannot remember right now. So take one for your type of hair.
Do the treatment at home like this:
Oil ur hair (including scalp) with warm oil (olive or coconut) at night and massage a little bit. Next day wash ur hair with the shampoo and after shampooing apply the conditioner and leave it on for 5-10 mnts (even though on the bottle it says 1-2 mnts) and then rinse away the conditioner properly. Thats it. Do this once every week and let me know if u find any difference. Of course, u wont find immediate results. Might take a month or so. But it will help. All the best. Bye.

Hi,
I have not noticed any new hair growth in my front scalp but the hair fall has reduced to some extent. to tell u frankly, I feel very lazy to do the treatment at home, so sometimes if I'm in a hurry, I dont oil my hair or condition it, I just wash it with the shampoo. So thats why my hairfall has not stopped completely. But if u follow the treatment every week, then I'm sure ur hair fall will stop. I dont know if new hair will grow in the front area where the scalp is showing but we can keep on trying. I am sure we will expect good results by oiling and conditioning our hair. Thats the best we can do. Also do u wash your hair everyday?? Because washing the hair everyday is not good. my beautician herself told me about this. By washing hair everyday the natural oil is reduced and also hair starts falling more and more. So u should wash hair only once in a week, twice if u have oily hair. And I'll surely let u know if I find any new treatment for it. Bye and write if u want any more help.

Hi,
Tell the beautician ur hair is falling a lot and also show her the scalp area where there's no hair and then ask her what treatment will help. She will tell u that deep conditioning treatment will help. If she suggests some other treatment, then u could try that out too. My beautician suggested deep conditioning treatment. I did it once every week, one session costs around $15 - $20 depending on length of hair, etc. So u can do this hair conditioning treatment 3-4 times and then u can continue it at home once u learn how to do it. U can take the shampoo, conditioner, etc. from that parlour itself and tell her that after 3-4 sessions u will continue it at home. Here in the parlous they never oil the hair (oiling the hair with warm oil is very beneficial) which is a disadvantage. So I suggest that once u start doing the treatment at home urself, oil ur hair before the treatment as I mentioned in my earlier reply. Hope I have helped u regarding ur doubts. Write to me if u need any further help.
bye

Hello everyone,
I have medium volume hair but my hair type is very thin and silky. Due to which my hair doesn't hold curls for long hours. I have heard that texturizing spray helps to solve the above problem. Could someone please suggest the good texturizing spray for thin hair?... - Amulya Peru [View Message]
