Thanks Suchie for your reply.. I will try Orajel and see if it helps.. She was sleeping pretty well before this, so am thinking maybe she is having teething pain. But then its almost 1 month and on and off I am having this problem, so dont know if it has become a habit for her or what.. Also, what did you do to make your dd sleep on her own when she got up at night.. Did you let her cry it out? Did your baby face lot of pain when she got her molars? Sorry to bother you with so many questions, but I really want her to sleep well..
chalo bye,
Bhairavi.

Bhiaravi

When I realized DD wakes up n cries just to make sure we are around, I decided not to respond. Her crib is near our bed, and I realized many times she wouldnot even open her eyes due to sleep, but still would cry to receive attention and tapping.
In trial period, I used to get up n stand next to crib but wont tap or touch her. When she used to see me, she would go to sleep. I tried this 6-7 days, after that I would just call her name from bed and tell her that I m around.

Now she wakes up n sees me and goes to sleep by herself, sometimes she fake cries for few seconds but when she realizes mommy is not going to pay attention she sleeps. Obviously you may not ignore when you know baby might be hungry or fussy with something.

Suchie.

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
