one thing more i have tried before as well to try folic acid tablets but somehow i cannot withstand the smell of the tablets. i immediately feel like vomitting the moment i see those tablets and try to have them. i mentioned that as well to the doc and she told me that i sud have more green vegetables as a supplement. which are the vegetables in particular that i mite have as a subsitute for the tablets? can u suggest pf any which can supplement for the tablets coz i dont think i can have those.
one more thing my next app with the mid wife is on 18th sep. what i just remembered is that my blood group is A-
. do u thing i need to take any xtra care being rh-ve..is there any special precaution that u know of?
thanks Archie for listening so patiently.

first of all you need to move out of this board and join April 2007 expectants because the concerns are more of that board than ttc boards.

if the rash continues to remain in next four days or so give a call to your Dr. and see if s/he can look into personally rather than by telephone or someother way.

folic acid is must and you must find out substitutes to replace pill. Simple thing would be google for folic acid containing vegetables or food. I am not pretty sure if I would cover most of the names. Sorry!

You will no need special care because of Rh-ve blood group at all if your spouse too is Rh-ve meaning A-ve, B-ve, AB-ve or O-ve. In case he is Rh+ve then your Dr. or midwife will give you rhogum injections during pregnancy to avoid alloimmunization, besides it normally is not a concern for first baby. It can be dangerous if the first baby born to R-ve mother is Rh+ve and mother starts producing antibodies against it. Then in subsequent pregnancy if next baby is Rh+ve as well then there is fatality expected. However, these days you will get injections regardless whether the baby is Rh-ve or Rh+ve and if it's first or second.
