Hi radhika,

You are right...nanny 911 is a very useful program for US.but i think we should not watch it with our kids near.because last week sas was sitting with me when i was watching nanny.she saw the little girl slaping her mom.the next sec she came to me and hit me hard in the head.these littleones are very shrude and they learn everything very easily.so planning to watch it when she is not arround.ok have a nice weekend.

love from kals

Hi ritu,

Sasmeta sleeps 2 hrs in the day time and does not wake up in the night. But the problem with her is that she sleeps only when we go to bed with her.Otherwise she is awake till we sleep (even if its 11 or 12).just feed her with heavy food as radhika said and let her play nicely. This may make her tired and she may goto sleep.Try to reduce her day time sleep duration otherwise. All the best.take care and have a nice weekend.

Not sure...how to solve that. Anu has been great since 3 months, but anu never slept day time so fortunately helped at night. now day care all sleep between 12:30-2:30 no idea how they do it but she is fine at night get dead tired playing with kids.
after seeing the nanny programs..think it takes a lot of patience.
ALl ic an suggest..is try to take one nap if she has more than that during day time and give a heavy meal at around 6:30/7 and full bottle before they sleep maybe that will help.
playing running a lot in evening helps them to sleep too..
not sure how this works..i hope it does..i would be tired if anu didn't sleep thru the night..i can understand how u feel.
Ritu as far as scheduling go..i was like that on weekends. weekdays am on forcedschedule so anu was fine..now weekends i try my best to stick to same day care timings of b'fast/snacks and lunch and it defintely is much easier for all of us..
try to finish cooking early mornign and jsut have like a baby sitting job from 8-5 and set a rotuined schedule..it takes a lot of self discipline..but helps a whole deal..see the nany program on abc at 9/10 on mondays and nanny 411 on fox (not on nowadays offseason)..it gives a load of great tips.
Hope we all find a balance soon..
All the best.
Take care.
Radhika

Some days I am lucky and Ayush sleeps through the night.Other days he gets up at 3-3.30 am and we have to give him milk else he cries and cries.Drinking milk in the middle of the night had just become a habit for him.We are also trying to make him sleep in his own bed but thats also not going good.He wakes up finally we bring him to our own bed.
