Can you share with us how you make rice and moong dal?
I want to slowly start giving it to my son.
Anyone giving toor dal?

Subject:  Khichri



Mix rice and moong dal in the ratio of 3:5 (three spoons rice and five spoons dal). Add water (approximately 6 times more) into it. Put a little amount of salt. Then Pressure cook the same for 5-6 minutes. Mash the same with spoon and then serve it.
For initially prepare khichri more watery, i.e., not thick, so that easily digested by baby. You can add more water later on, after preparation, if the prepared stuff is thick.

Will it remain same until I cool it?
Because dal tends to tighten up as it cools.
So if it happens, can I mix little milk to make it smooth?

seems everyone is busy ,busy alot. For me too life is hactic. But i do not forget to take a break in between either a movie or party or go out on weekends. Last 15 days i had all.
