Anoushka's favourite book is Book A and Book B from Sesame street.

She carries it around and likes to pretend to read and when I am not looking she chews on it ..... naughty monkey .When I catch her she gives me a innocent look and hold the book out for me :- ).ThankGod for the hard pages .The books are still surviving .

Which book do your sweeties love ? What about the electronic books - I saw it in costco making noise of animals ? Have you got them ?

It was sooooo cute to read about what makes Appu and Anu laugh . Very sweet .

Books are my help for feeding/passing time..think waste buying toys that u have to keep rotating to keep itnerest.
Anu's fav books we get simple popup books from walmart small ones for 88c
1-10/jack and beanstalk etc..she loves popping them open .
best books i have found that retains her interest..
brush ur teeth (u can move the brush in every page..end has a smile pic and paper mirror)
animals..can feel the furs in every page.
barney book.
I think i know every page withotu looking so at times i work and anu keeps turnign pages..if i go ahead by mistake she gives me a dirty look..like so u r not paying attn. :)
but its fun to see them she know exactly wehre book is kept which book i ask and gets to read..
praveen got her a hindi book :) i am reading it not she..but i have a load of collection of amar chitra katha( my dad would gift every bday..even did when i got married..)so now she loves it knows monkey/krishna/tenali and birbal..I hope i can give it to her..she is not allowed to tear any page in this book.
I hope kids will love books/our comics too..

Even I have so many of those hindi comics and magazines at home in India .I used to love them - Nandan , Chanda mama ,birbal .
Your post really took me into those cherised moments of childhood .
