few questions on the options of boycut. generally do parlours give a very short boycut ? I don' t know nor seen what you mean by hand and machine to cut the hair short. do parlours have them ? Is it possible to get a very short haircut using scissors itself ?

I do not know about parlours. I am from a middle class family and we do not support extravaganza. I opted for boycut since I had a longtime longing for it and not for any fashion or westernisation. So I opted for a barber shop and I was lucky that the barber shop near my house did not refuse to cut my and my daughter' s hair. As I have said, initially he cut my hair with hand operated machine and a couple of months back with electric machine (some call it clippers).
I do not know whether you want to cut your hair short for its own sake or to get rid of lice and nits.
If it is to enjoy a short boycut, you can go for a scissor cut. With scissors also barbers can cut very close to the head but a minimum of 3 to 4 mm of hair will still be left. You can have a very beautiful boy cut with scissors - about 3 mm on back and sides, about 1 inch on top, 1 and half inch in the front and proper gradations. But this will not solve your lice and nit problem.
To solve that, the best way is to go for a clean razor shave allover, once in two weeks for about 3 months, with some herbal medicine applied on the clean pate. The shaving is best done in a barber shop and not in a parlour. After some growth you can go for a boycut of your liking. But a machine cut (close to skin on sides and back, and short on top) really looks good on some and feels great for anybody. Going for short scissor cut to remove lice is not of much use in my view.
If you are religious, it is better to go for the first tonsure at a religious place of your choice.
