Due Date Club April 2007:baby passing stool

Name: Dipika Dear All,

I read somewhere that after 34th week baby can pass stool in the amnoitic fluid. If the baby swallows the stool mixed amnoitic fluid, it is extremely dangerous.

I wanted to know the symptoms after the baby passes the stool. Is there some sort of pain so that we can immediately contact the doctor?

I think all of us must know the answer to this query...so please help if anybody knows about it...

How r u doing...u must have reached ur 9th month na...Congrats...

This first stool that the baby passes is called meconium...

I found many sites that talk about meconium aspiration in google...i tried to post the site address of some of them but couldnt due to IP being moderated..i dont know if that reply would appear on this message board after some time...but right now i couldnt post it...so pls. google for \" meconium aspiration\" and u will find a lot of details about it...
