Speech:Does not speak words properly with " sh"

My son who will be 6 years next month, can speak the following words properly --
1. Words begining with \" sh\" e.g. shoes, shop etc. He says them like soes, sop etc
2. He on many occassions does not say words having \" r\" properly. He will sound them as \" l\" . e.g. ribbon. He will say libbon etc
Will really appreciate if someone can let us know is it normal? Will he overcome as he grows up? If yes, at what age? Should we show him to a speech doctor?

Your child problem is related to misarticulation of /r/,/sh/ sounds. few of the children achieve late like your child .You should not be worried to much. Better consult a certified speech language Pathologist/speech therapist.

Also, he doesn't understand slightly longer sentences, even when we speak slowly and enact it such as "we'll go out after we eat". Otherwise, he appears perfectly normal. Shoranur kerala samajam Ayurveda hospital review
Hi All,

My son is less than 4 and has been diagnosed to be on the autism spectrum. He is non-verbal. We are taking him for OT and ABA/speech therapy.

Meanwhile, I read about an Ayurvedic hospital called Kerala Samajam hospital in Shoranur. Has anyone gone there for treatment? Any reviews?

Hints for Nursing
Babies eat and eat and eat. Although nature has done a pretty good job of providing you and your baby with the right equipment, in the beginning it's almost guaranteed to be harder than you expected. From sore nipples to tough latch-ons, nursing can seem overwhelming.
