Due Date Club May 2007:Uterus slightly tight..Please help!
2007-04-09
Name: sarita arun

Hi,
I am Sarita and I am in my 35 month of my 1st pregnancy. For the last 2 weeks, have been having slightly strong understomach pains which make me get up suddenly in my sleep.
My Gynacologist said that my uterus was slightly tight and suggested DUVADILAN RETARD for this.
Wanted to have an idea what exactly is this condition, Is it harmful to the baby....How long is it best to take this tablet, does it help, does it do any harm to baby?
I lost my 1st baby at 3 months due to a missed abortion...So am a little worried....Can someone help by giving me any details???
Thanks,
Sarita

Hi,
Me now completed 36 weeks .. my stomach got tightened 10 days back .. and since then I am also taking the same tablet..
my ganaec suggested me to take it till 37 week completion.. check with ur gynaec.. mistly she wud say 36 or 37 only.. it is basicaly to avoid preterm-labor.. no harm to the baby so dont worry !!!
take care
Shalini

Hi Palak,
Eating both fruits is good for health but you have to be very cautious because banana would put you to gain weight. So better think about that and then there will be no chance of loss of weight.... - Neha [View Message]
