Hope all are fine and so are babies and all planning for long holiday ahead.
Anu is fine, runs a lot around doesn't like to be in one place..not fussy about eating or drinking milk, but losing her baby fat..is there any way i can see that she doesn't reduce pounds, she has maintained weight fine over the last few months..now that she is so active around..guess losing the pounds she had..could be home food/no formula/cereals etc..is there any diet food that will keep the weight on..
Not too worried since she is active, but hate to see her loose her chubby face so soon.
OTherwise, anu's fav toys are papers/books/clothes/tissue rolls/cardboard boxes :) and her doll. Very much amused and investigations going on aroudn the house searching for new things to see.
Give her a set of keys and she will sit for 30 mins trying to unlock the door and pretend she is unlocking with each key :)
Hope everyone keeps in touch. share the cute little things they do to surprise u. All babies i find are so different and cute in their own way, how they think and analyse is amazing..so please don't hold back and think oh it feels like we as moms showing off :) we all learn as much from them too..so lets all have a laugh and enjoy the happy incidents along with the queries too..and i am sure everyone sees new things everyday.I hope u have a nice day..
Take care

Very interesting to read about all our little ones.Sasmeta is also naughty like others. Our week goes like this...I take her to the playgroup, we have in our appt for 2 days in a week and on every tuesday we have play date.So sas and i are some what busy going arround to friends house and they coming to our house with their kids.Sasmeta just says the word MAMA(uncle) if she sees my brother. She also says the word 'star' a lot.but she has not started to say mom or dad yet.looking forward to hear it.She likes to read books a lot.She always brings a book to me and sits on my lap and wants me to read it to her.once its done she runs and brings another one. Some times i get tired reading to her but she will not.She likes me singing rhymes to her.She says duck when i sing 'old Mc donald.....on the farm he had a ?....she replies as duck. And she shows her head, eyes, ears, mouth and nose to me if i ask one by one.she also says 'sa tha' if i ask what is ur name?.she loves to watch teletubbies.even now i have put that Cd so that she will sit in one place and not disturb me while typing. One day i was singing some song and she suddenly came in front of me and kept her finger in her mouth and said'Shh shh shhh'.we couldn't stop laughing when she did that. Each day she learns some thing new.We are planning to take her to the SWIMMING classes from next month. What do u guys say?.Is it good to start at this age?.When is the good time to teach them some extra curricular activities?.have u guys started to teach them any of it?. I am sure that it brings lots of joy to the parents when they see them grow.Okay guys take care of u and ur naughty ones.

It was good to hear about Anu and Aysuh's games.Nick, when i read about Ayush, I just smiled coz Kaustubh also does the same thing...but instead of putting them into cabinets, he pushes everything under, under the fridge, under the stove top, under the bed.It is amazing what u can find under, after a couple of days.
I wanted to ask one question, I know Kaustubh looks a lill like a girl, but i dont like strangers telling that.Even on the other day we went for a baby shower and couple of my friend's friends were whispering looking at Kaustubh and i just asked if something was the matter...and they said he looks like a girl.I did get angry but didnt know how to reply to them....can u help me in this.
Love to Anu and Ayush,

Its fun to hear about Anu.Ayush has started become very very fussy about food and hardly eats anything. He is having too many frequent ear infections and we are worried as the antibiotics are not helping much ,they are just reducing his immunity and he is getting them too frequently. He has become pretty thin .Otherwise when he is fine he is active always trying to find new things to put in the wrong places. My kitchen cabinet what not I have found his diapers, lotion ,his milk bottle, potatoes, toys, shoes etc.Anything in his hand he will put inside the cabinet and close the door.U are right its fun to read what other babies are upto.

Hi Sumana
I can understand ur feelings and its maybe difficult to ignore. If they are strangers i wouldn't even bother to think about it. We are lucky to be here where people don't judge us as much isn't it..I am sure when we go back home, our own folks will have tons to say about our babies and how we raise them..all I can say is learn to enjoy time with ur baby and ignore. U cannot do anything about it and if we think everyone can judge us and we react, people will keep doing it even more. First time I looked at his birthday pictures,i was showing the guys here, how cute an huge his eyes were..and I loved the picture, I hope other people's opinion doesn't affect u..when anu was 2 months, my collegue said she looks much older..all i could say was "great..i have no idea , my first baby..but did u see her smile..? :)"
It does hurt, but don't dwell on it. Comments i guess esp being married and lived in india we should be used to it. Have fun with Kaustubh..and let him just be as he is and i hope both of u have a great time together..rest of the world can go to ....whereever.
Agree with nick, babies look boyish/girlish its too soon to say..as it is their face changes so fast, u will miss this cute face very soon.
have a fun weekend, don't fret over ignorant people and foolish comments.
Take care.

Sumana-I know it hurts to hear comments like that but just take it lightly. The fact that they say he looks like a girl is not going to make him look like a girl.We mothers will hear lots of comments but we shouldn't feel bad.Nothing they say or do is going to change the baby.He is what god has made him.And frankly I didn't know that babies are so distinguishable at this age ! And besides I consider it as saying that my boy is going to turn out very good looking when he grows up then as did u see the baby pictures of most handsome stars..they looked very pretty when they were young !!

Hi Nick...
Smiled reading ur note..i can imagine cleaning up everyday with odd items ..but i am sure u r more amused than being mad.
As for ear infections, don't worry so much..me and my friend have sucessfully avoided it (touch wood) with the usage of xlear regularly..if u r comfortable its just grapefruit and sugar drops. u can use it too.just twice a day regularly and howmany ever times if u think he has cold is fine..worked for both our kids till now. Hope it does thru this winter.
Take care
