Sudhir, last Saturday my hubby got tonsured in Tirumala. Please see my post of 12th in ' To Kumuda' by Sudhir of 2009-05-23. Somehow, the post is not appearing in ' Last 7 Posts of this Board' .

Hi Kumuda,I felt extremely Happy to hear that your two kids and the two gents in the family got their heads shaved.So your house is full of baldies except for the two ladies:) Its even more heartning to see that there are women like you who encourage their men to go for short haircuts and also head shaves.I am also happy that just because I asked you a question about your hubby' s headshave that you guys took this pilgrimage and got your hubby' s head shaved and also that you loved his tonsured head looks.did you touch his freshly shaved head?did you like the feel of it?My wife loves to feel the smoothness of my shaved head and that' s the reason I still shave my head smooth every evening.does your hubby sports a moustache?if yes,did he shave it too?

So now your husband has got used to the crewcut that even the barber that he visits often doesn´ t even ask him what style but just runs handclipper at his sides and back when he steps in for a haircut ?

Yes Sudhir, it felt very nice to feel his (and of course those of my kids) smooth heads. But then already the heads are sandpapery and that feeling is also very nice. In fact the feel on the sides and back of my hubby´ s head everytime he returns after a crew cut is excellent. Now the same feel comes from all over his head.
No, he does not sport a moustache normally. But before we went to Tirumala, for about two weeks he did not shave his beard or moustache. He got it shaved along with the head. And I, and also he, like a clean shaven face, not a moustached one.
