Shannu, I found a maternity trouser atlast for me..ha! its my dream come true..hehe..I didnt have a big belly for my 1'st child..atleast now I've grown one(though not v big) for this one & am really happy to wear it atleast during the last 2 months of my preg. woohoo!
AB, what happened to your parents visa?

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL.
This year is so special to all of us...and for the first time Mom liek me, its so exciting and so special.

Just this one month to go for you all having a early Feb EDD, mine is anyway on the 3rd week...so i have still 7 week to go (which really feel bit far right now.:) )

Vidya -- Congrats on finding the right materinity Trousers finally. Even i have a small tummy and till my 6th month i was able to manage with just one size bigger trousers. then i bought the elastic waste bands. Then in mid nov, i bought a maternity jeans (with teh bump pannel), which is really so comfortable (though its not very fashional and u need to wear a longer top always).
In dec first week i finally found an excellent, fashinable trouser from 'H&M' (in UK) and i really love it. Teh days when its not too cold, i do wear indian 'Salwar kameez'..they are teh best!!!

AB-- Wishing you and your parents very best of Luck for the VISA interview. I hope it will all work out smoothly. COuld they manage to postpone their tickets by one week? My tensin was, there was absolutely no tickets available till feb 1st week an d26th dec was the only day they found a ticket. Anyway, everything was finally sorted out ad they got their flight as scheduled (but their flight was delayed by ONE DAY and was stuck up in Delhi Airport because of bad weather!!!)

Sahnnu -- dont worry about ur figure sweetie..u will get it back soon :). anyway, as you said, having that precious baby is so much more worth!!!
I have seen here ladies with 3-4 kids and still looking like teen agers - perfect figure...i dont know how tehy achieve taht. i am sure i cannt be like them...(too lazy to go fo raerobics and all and with my 8 hours sitting job...i can forget geting that wasteline again..hahaha..)anyway, good luck to you.

By the way friends...have you all purchased all abby things..bedding, cloths, bathing, travel systems, feeding etc etc?
I would really love to hear how the shopping is going on.

Good to hear that U got Ur trousers :-)) .I have been maternity shopping for a long time... But I never feel satisfied with anything and end up buying nothing.... Just want to get back in to shape soon and start wearing all kinds of Fashion wears soon.... But it will take a lot of time..... Looking at myself into the mirror makes me feel I will take another 9 months to get back my previous figure..... :-))
Anyways...thats does not make much of a difference..... Does it :-))????
By the by... Vidya....How old is Ur first child? And is he/she well prepared for a Bro/Sis? Do mail me in detail.....

I am sure 2003 is going to be a special year for all of us, For some of us, its just a beginning of motherhood and its going to be such a wonderful experience.

I am extremely sorry for not posting any messages lately. I have been totally confused and tensed abt my parents' visa. All seems to be going well now, except that they will be here almost a week delayed from the planned date.
They have an interview scheduled at Madras consulate. Just praying god, things work out.
Shannu, As far as I have heard JFK is a better hospital than St.Peters. I understand abt the Single/Double room issue and also u can't have anybody to stay at nights. But u actually won't need anybody, b'cos they keep the baby in the nursery and they just bring it to u for feeding. And if u r lucky for a normal delivery, u just stay in hospital for aday or 2. so its no big deal.
My hospital is Muhlenberg Regional Center , fortunately, they allow husbands to stay with wives.

Subha thanks for reply reg visa, I am sure u understand my tension better since u went thro' it.i shall keep u posted abt all news.
most of us have only 4/5 weeks to go, it cud be less than that too, who knows.
I had a u/s y'day, baby is doing very normal, growth is good. Weighs abt 5.8 lbs now.
