Hi Archie and all,
I am new to this site.Was just surfing and came across this excellent site.Archie u are doing a wonderful job congrads and keep up the good work.Archie I am 23 years old and we are planning to TTC from oct 2006.I have a problem of irregular periods.Now its 3 months since i got periods.I am worried about this irregular periods.We are planning to go to India in August so i am planning to visit a gynaec there and get fully tested.What all tests should i do ?Should i first try to regulate my periods? I am right now taking centrum and folic acid supplements.What all test should shd my husband go through?Archie would be very happy if u will guide me with these details and all through my TTC .Thanks a lot and sorry for this long message.

Welcome to board.
Yes, the three months no period sounds little off the routine. You might need to investigate on a few to many aspects.
Lets start with pelvic ultrasound to know everything is normal.
Also let your Dr. do an internal check up to see vaginal environment.
If things look fine then you may need to get some treatment on regulating periods first and see if you can ovulate routine.

Have menstrual hormones checked alogn with prolactin. in brief reproductive endocrilogy on your blood.

I don't think you will get to do a papsmear in India, but if you live in western world your routine gynecological visit will cover this test.

Unless you get regular period and failt to conceive for 12 cycles your spouse may not be tested for his semen quality.

Before going for any procedure check the details about the clinic first. check out their website. check their links. Then make their way to there.
