and don't give any ideas that he can play. You may sing and rock him. May be that will help. He will slowly adjust to our sleep schedule so we have to be patient. At this age, they have more activities and they are learning and grasping everything they can. This can put a little cramp in their sleep as they are very excited. Try to get him to play (use his favorite toy or something) during daytime. Keep the room really bright. Even if he cries do not allow him to sleep more than 5 hours during daytime. Try to get him to take 3 naps (each lasting 1 1/2 to 2 hrs) If he is still sleeping, wake him up. I know it will feel bad, but hey, before you know it he will be sleeping well during the night. Good luck

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
