Name: Kids have worn me down..lol



Hi Ladies,
I am not Indian, I am white, with native background. My problem is, as I was growing up I was very olive completed, then turned white..lol
When I was pregnant with my 3rd child I noticed my upper lip turning dark, like the pigment color changed (which it did), now the problem is, I have upper lip facial hair problem in which I have shaved since I was 11, I am now 36. So I began plucking it since I thought it was the hair, well that was not the problem, the pigment is actually darker and now it looks like I have a half mustache.
I always wear concelar and make up when I go out that I have to talk to people but now on an everyday basis I don't wear make up.
Does anyone else have this problem and if so what did you do?

i have the same problem. I'm not indian either, my skin tone is olive and i've had a shadow above my lip for a while now. I thought it was the hairs so i plucked it also but it's actually the skin. I bleach it once a month or so and then on another board someone suggested Alpha hydrox, it's an AHA product.

Hey you know what, I have the same problem!! I don't know what to do. I bleach my upper lip hair, but it grows back after like a week- month. I thought about laser surgery but I am scared I would be scarred permanently, nowadays, I just pluck out the hairs, and put makeup over the skin. It is a temporary fix.
