Hello Swati, ! year of trying to conceive is not a long time. But first you should consult with your doctor. He will give a good diet plan and lifestyle advice. Its understandable that you are a bit worried about your age. Age plays a big role in defining female fertility. There is only a limited no of eggs in the female ovaries and the no. goes on decreasing with each passing menstrual cycle. But I think 38 is not too late to try. There is a healthy chance of getting pregnant if everything else is normal medically. I would like you to remain stress free. I could not conceive for 8 years in my marriage and it was very disappointing.But thankfully I had the support of my husband and family. If you are lucky enough your home should be stress free.I would love for you to succeed and wishing you best of luck.
