congratulations on your pregnancy. This was the diet given by my Doc during my pregnancy.this will surely curb your hunger and keep you GD in control.
breakfast
2 slices of wheat toast
1 egg
8 ounce glass of milk
1 cheese single
lunch
1 cup of cooked rice
or
2 no oily chappatis
less greasy non veg curry
vegetable sabji
spinach or any other green leaf side dish
1 cup yougurt.
you can have the same for dinner too.
for snacks in the mid time,go for fresh fruits, cheese slices,1 ounce or 2 of nuts like cashews and almonds.carrots, cucumber, healthy homemade snacks,or oatmeal porridge,
stay away from fried foods, soda pops, mostly indian sweets that are soaked in syrup like gulabjamun.cakes, donuts, cookies, fastfoods, frenchfreis
drink lots of water.
in the middle of the night if you are hungry go for low fat milk and water.
it is good if you include fenugreekseeds(methi) in your daily diet.once in a while karela sabji will be good too.
there is nothing much to worry about GD.just limit your carb intake and completely avoid sugar.and regular excercise, will be enough.walking for atleast 30 min a day will be the best thing to do.
take care and have a wonderful pregnacy.

diet during pregnancy
Maintaining a healthy diet during pregnancy is very important.

During this time, your body needs additional nutrients, vitamins and minerals.

In fact, you may need 350–500 extra calories each day during the second and third trimesters.

A diet lacking in key nutrients may negatively affect the baby’s development.
