This is ' machine cut' Preeti again (that is how some of my colleagues call me). My m-i-l has advised me to grow hair over the next four years to whatever length it grows. She and Ramya also would do the same and sometime in late 2013 (by then Ramya would be in +2)she wants herself and me to do ' Venidaan' in Prayag and get full tonsure after that. In this ritual, the husband himself cuts off the braid and the lady would offer it to Triveni Sangam with due rituals. And it is highly auspicious to shave off the head fully after Venidaan. All, including unmarried girls are advised by scriputres to get shaved there. So, all of us including Ramya, would get fully shaved there. Of course, Ramya would get fully shaved in Tirupati in July that year and shaved again in Prayag later.
She also wants our July Tirupati trip to become an annual ritual. So this July all would again shave (including herself, me and Ramya) and next three years only an inch would be snipped from whatever length we would have. And she is very enthusiastic about this plan of hers.
After much thought I have agreed. So, sometime this July all of us would be bald again in Tirupati. Hence I have only three more months (April, May, June) to undergo clipper cut. Now, of course, my clipper cut appearance has become quite usual and accepted.
I have also convinced Ramya to grow hair after July ' gundu' . In April first week she wants a full ' machine' gundu in the barber shop and I have conceded her request. She will have two crew cuts in May and June.
My m-i-l has assured me that I could keep my clipper cut regulary forever with occasional gundu after that Venidaan. And I hope to do so. nandini replied. hi

Today Ramya' s head was clippershaved in the barber shop once more, this time with electric clippers. She said the feeling was very good though different from manual clippers. The barber first cleared her head of the half to three fourth inch growth with a black plastic piece on his electric clippers. Then he removed that and ran the machine all over her head once more. Her head is smoother than with manual clippers. She is joyful again as last time.
I had my boycut like last time, though with electric clippers. I also liked the feel with the electric machine. The final outcome is similar to that in April. Like Ramya my clippered sides and back are smoother than last month.
Next month (June) all of us including the gents are skipping haircut in preparation for the July tonsure.

ladies genrally after headshave will cover the head will go to office and all.
but ur going with boy cut. very nice.
i feel that ur making ur hair cut in barbershop also. very very interesting. i think ur very bold lady.
this year also ur having to offer hair at tirumala. very nice to hear.

Generally brahmin are not offering hair. expecting ur reply.

srinivas. Preeti replied. Today I got Ramya' s head clippershaved in the barber shop as per her wishes. The barber used manual clippers only like last time. She has a sandpapery head today. And she is loving both the feel and the look very much. Since vacation has started for her, she ecstatically moves around bald.
Today I had my usual boycut with machined back and sides. Only, at my request, the machined portion has gone by about quarter inch and the length of the top hair is shorter by quarter inch. Of course, I still can comb it to a crop.
By next month, our barber will have electric clippers also. So most likely I and Ramya will have our next month' s haircut by electric clippers.
