Name: Natasha
Hello guys! My name is Natasha and I am new to this board. I made an account because I was impressed with how this board functions and aims to resolve one's beauty problems. I've caught a glimpse of nearly every board.. and they are nowhere near as busy as this one! lol.. great job!
The one thing that really put me down was the number of people in need of lightening their skin colour - in particular Pakistani women and young girls. It's unbelievable.. because we each have such a unique skin tone that millions of peopl out there wish they had! There are many who are fair.. other with dusky tones and similarly.. tanned or a little darker!
But what difference does it make? This is the best thing about our culture.. but hardly any seem to recognise it. Pakistanis were originally evolved from these Arabic provinces.. which is partly due to how we own such emminent skin tones. A hint of gold is projected.. upon which so many envy and wish they had!
Pale and pasty tones have nothing to show off.. apart from bland features. Whilst our tones are rich and beautiful!
You might be thinking.. 'Who am I to speak? You are probably fair so you have nothing to worry about..'
That's wrong - because i have a light brown colour. I was originally very fair.. which is why I resolved to application of honey + lemon. But having now been able to think back.. I wonder.. 'What was the purpose of me doing that'?
Our skin colour reflects our background and the culture we are so proud to behold. We should thank Allah that we belong to the best and powering religion in the world.. why are we complaining?
Look at these south indians.. or gujeratis. They are evidently darker than us.. but we don't see them moan half as much as we do. Their skin colour is pretty much the same throughout - one can tell from a distance what country they are from.
But with us Pakistanis.. it is slightly different. Many behold a colour similar to Turkish women.. or those found in Iran. It's beautiful! How can we not accept that?
I hope I have made you stop and think twice. We are beautiful - be we dark or light. Our rreligion is what should shine through us.. not our selfish attiuted towards a fair complexion.
Thanks for hearing me out - Natasha xxx
