Hi,

Sprouted green gram (moong ) is very rich in protein.U can have it early morning. In fact u can try to sprout other pulses aswell like beans seeds etc.Pudina and coriander leaves are rich in iron - can make chutney and have.Soya bean is supposed to be rich in iron, calcium and protein.I haven't tried it yet . But u can actually get soya flour and add handful of it to chapathi flour when u knead flour for chapathi.I want to try this.

Hi all,

i normally have little cornflakes in the morning with cold milk (thats the only way i can take milk ,otherwise i have to make milk shake later ).I take egg white omlette or boiled with bread little later on alternate days. Sometimes i do keep some dosa batter ( dal dosas, or other) and have dosa with chutney. For meals we normally have chappathi or rice with some veggie dish (brocolli , cabbage, cauliflower, sambhar, beans, dhals etc).Sometimes i prepare veggie soup.In the fruits category i normally eat strawberries, oranges, melon (whichever is availbale in fridge !).I do munch some nuts in between if i remember.I also try to take little yoghurt with rice everyday.
This is the diet i try to follow but most of the days am not able to stick to it.
Do tell me what u guys normally have ?

hi DK,
thanks for the suggestion.I love icecreams ! In fact i used to have lot of icecreams before.Have stopped eating as soon as i came to know tham am carrying. My worry is won't it add extra calories ? I guess i shouldn't be worrying about putting on too much weight. Becos i've always been at ave. 45kgs. When i went for my appt on 6 th it was 95 lbs. May be i should really start eating icecreams now !

Kavitha,

You can try ice-creams too !!! They are best substitutes for milk.

Also if you add some jam (like strawbery or something of your choice) to yoghurt it will be very tasty too !!

Hi Sheel,
Why do you think in such way doctors would take care of you also.So it is better you do not take any tensions for that which would be better for you only.I hope you would do that.... - Megha [View Message]
