Due Date Club October 2003:Finally I donated blood today to red cross

This was my 2nd attempt and it is successful :-)I donated blood at
red cross today as they had come to my office.
So many restrictions one should should not have gone outside US for the last 3 years etc etc

This was my first time and am feeling very happy to be able to do something for society .

Yes feels good when u do something like this..done it many times in india..felt offended over here when i asked info and they didn't want indians to come if visited back home..got mad..and then stopped enquiring.. :) yes but def. the least we can do.

U are right ,here I also felt they don't want our blood but I was determined that inspite of being born and brought up in a 3rd world underdeveloped country we are as healthy as the people here and capable of saving life.It was for my self satifaction that I did it :-).
