Hi
Hope u and nick doing fine and so is day care..got used tohim getting cold often:)..used to worry initially later my friends who were ped. said send a child at any age first time to school/day care they will take a year to strengthen immune system and get infections. hoping thats it by next year this time she is immune to most colds.
As for ayush being stubborn, I think its normal during this time, lady who takes care of anu says they go thru seperatin anxiety this time so feel they will be all alone..playing peek and boo, or even when move away keep talking singing..will help them to know u r not far away.
I leave anu (if in swing) keep talking from kitchen window/opening. If on floor crawling she will see where I go and keep talking from the other room if she can see me or keep peeping in,gets very excited seeing me hide and come back..
I am sure he will be fine soon..just like he adjusted in the day care.
From i know and read, what we practice now is what they will learn. does not mean to be strict, hold when they cry but try to balance it out. I have to repeat na kar..na a lot to anu without any harsh tone a million times a day, sucessful one or two things, if i do raise my voice she hates it cries the hell out..now saying na is enof she looks back if she can still try it again :) be consistent..else baby gets confused..takes a looootttt of patience.
don't worry, he is fine, just normal kid.
Take care
Radhika
