Due Date Club July 2005:Thanks Smile, Pooja and Priya

thanks to you gals for giving me tips, my travel list is now complete and I got a good handle on what all things to carry.
The only thing I am still confused about is to should I carry an umbrella stroller, or a trvael chair which i could attach to my carry-on or should I go for 2 in 1 car seat stroller kind of things which is FAA approved. We have booked a seat for Arjun and were wondering what will happen in case of a turbulence. Since its along journey we don't want to carry his Britex one as it will be a pain to carry. Any suggestions on what should I do.

Priya, its so good to know that Dylan is doing really well, see I told you. every kid has a different growth rate, some are ahead in something while others are in otherthings. My belief is 99% of normal human beings are born with same intelligence - some excel in some others are in others. You must be very relieved now but once he'll start to talk more and more noise level is bound to get increased so be ready for it.
Arjun is better now and today I dropped him at his day-care. How is Dylan? When are you planning to start day-care for him? How is your pregnancy coming along? It must be hard to juggle between work and life and take care of yourself. I never got a chance to take care of myself when I was carrying Arjun so if I go for a second one, I am desperate to have ample of time to pamper myself.
Love to both the little ones and you take care

I prefer 2 in 1 stoller when we go out we usually take the 2 in 1 because dylan is restlaess in the umbrella stroller so we think that we can rock him in the 2 in 1.
Yes it is a releif aboutb dylan at one point we were worried about autism and it is very scary however the dr reassured us that sometime the only child is a little behind then if he/she had a sibling.
I can tell you i have no rest at home as work and baby are very demanding even with a sitter.I couldnt take care of my self my fisrt pregnancy due to my mil being terminal that time and this time not really having a cjance to take care either as ui am either cleaning the fridge or bathroom etc when dylan is sleeping yesterday i starting have slight pains in abdomen so i am trying to take it easy still it is hard.no daycare for dylan will put him partime school when he is 2.5 in the meantime he goes to little gym on saturdays and likes it.hoping to have a new sitter now b4 the next baby comes.

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
