Hi Bidita, Why don´ t you consult Southend IVF and fertility center in Delhi? My best friend is getting her IVF treatment done through them only and she is extremely happy with the way they are treating her. They have a very caring and experienced team with many successful treatments.Their approach is very personal and after doing a complete profile they suggest the best solution for you. I am sure, they will be able to help you out too.

This is the best news in the world. I am going to a mother. She sees only a selected no. of patients each month and takes personal care. She is not commercialised like so many others around. many thanx Dr. Richa, you are the best.

Subject:  prefer iswarya women´ s hospital

i am from vellore. initially i was undergoing treatment with Dr.jayaganeshan near vellore. i did iui 3 times there.. din conceive. finally saw a lot of advices in net. preferred either iswarya or gg. went for second opinion to few ivf clinics in chennai. a lot of them suggested ivf for me. but a lot of ivf clinics costs were extremely high in other hospitals.then i preferred iswarya women' s hospital. here the doctors were kind enough and gave me encouragement. after getting counseling from them, the procedure was started. ovulation induction was done by scan monitoring for me. my husband had slightly lesser count. finally the docs suggested to go for icsi procedure considering our age group.i was told 4 good embryos were formed after ivf by blastocyst method..then single embryo was transferred and i asked them to freeze the other embryos. now conceived in iswarya by icsi. its my 2nd month. now we are proud ourselves that we are going to become mother and father.. thanks to this method of treatment. i suggest any couple who are in need of ivf treatment to go to iswarya.
regarding treatment its one of the best, i hope.
i heard there are other ivf clinics in chennai which have good ambience and treatments. finally found success rate is good here...

i conceived by frozen icsi here. i suggest anyone to go here. i have a seen a lot of couples leaving this clinic with positive results. i had a failed ivf in southern california reproductive center first. then did an ivf with dr.malarselvi.initially came here only for second opinion. finally conceived in iswarya. fro my reports it was found that the endometrial thickness was a problem in conceiving which would find difficult to reach the normal thickness during embryo transfer. this time it was monitored correctly and finally i tasted my success here. we are thankful to you..

Subject:  info for ivf in chennai

Hi, i see you are looking up for a good ivf centre in chennai. I came from US to chennai in 2010 for IVF. I didnt have anyones proper advice for a good centre, thought every centre might be the same and went to ishwarya clinic in adyar and had the worst treatment that i would never forget in my life. More than time and money the pain that we go through when it fails is very intense. Later i was guided to Dr.Sarat in Apollo hospital in greams road chennai where i had ICSI which is similar to IVF and it was successful. Now im a tired but a happy mom :) of my twin sons.
It is upto you to choose a hospital but before going through IVF carefully look for these few points.

1.First, see whether they do IVF or ICSI in batches if so do not even bother to make an appointment with that doctor. Every ones body reacts different to the medicine when they do in batches they try to make you ovulate according to their convenient date which doesnt work. I usually ovulate little late, in ishwarya clinic they tried to push me to a earlier date and finally they got just two eggs during egg collections where as in apollo they dont do in batches so the doctor waited till my follicles were in good size to go thro the treatment and it worked out great.

2.Secondly, see if the fertility centre has any branches if so avoid that centre. During the follicular study there might be different situations every day so the doctor must be there everyday to see your report in person. In ishwarya fertility centre in Adyar, Dr.Chandraleka is a very busy woman as she has branches in pazhani, coimbatore, chennai, and new one recently opened in Madurai. During my follicular study she was in some other city so the other doctor use to call her up asking for the medicine dosage and solution for any problems. The doctor was available only twice before the treatment and she doesnt talk properly or try to clear my doubts, all her answers were rude. Ones she was talking to her travel agent while she was doing TV-Scan which was down right rude and not a good manner for a doctor. In Apollo the doctor was there everyday and whenever something appeared to be wrong in the scan he would do a double check on the scan and would suggest the rightful solution.

3.If the doctor suggest you to go through any laproscopy or any other treatment before IVF or ICSI or IUI you try to get some second advice from some other doctor before you go through it. Again in ishwarya fertility centre Dr.Chandraleka made me to get a diagnostic Laproscopy which later i was told was completely unwanted. When i asked her if this is necessary as i was completely fine her answer was not informative rather she asked me whether im ready to take chances. This would commonly happen in many fertility clinics so be aware of that.

4.See if they are providing you with the proper papers when they do the treatment. In Ishwarya i was not given a single piece of paper of my follicular study or the Egg collection or the embryo transfer process. I was not told how many embryos were going to be transfered, when i asked the doctor during the transfer she said why are you bothered about it. Later after transfering she enquried from a nurse and told me 1 embryo. More than the number of embryos when she asked the nurse for the number after transfering it into me gave me the ultimate shock. In apollo they gave me a clear record of the treatment and the medicine and the dosage of it. After my egg collection i was introduced to my embryologist who would let you know of the number and the development of the embryos. After my transfer i was given clear papers of the transfer and also the picture of the embryos transfered :)

5.Infrastructure is very important. In Ishwarya fertility clinic, Adyar there werent enough beds when they did the treatment in batches. They had 5-6 beds while there were 20-25 in every batch they did.

This is all my personal experience in both the places. Wherever you choose try to go through these points before you go through the treatment because more than the physical pain, the pain in the heart is too much to bear when the ivf fails. But do not give up hope, second try was my lucky one.... hope your second try would be lucky too. All the best!

Dear Friend,
I would suggest you to go to Bourn Hall Clinic India. It is the first IVF clinic of the world and the founder of the Clinic got a Nobel prize for inventing IVF technology. Currently, they have no clinic in Chennai. Their clinic is in Kochi. You may call the toll free no. 1800 200 1978. They are known for treating the failed cases. Recently they have built a facility called CLEAN ROOM, which is the first of its kind in Asia. Clean Room increases the chances of success by 8-10%. No IVF centre in India has this facility hence this would be your best bet.
