Wish you & Tanaaz a nice trip to india. When are you leaving and how long do u plan to stay there? I am also planning to go in mid october. I think its easier to take them when they are not mobile. But there are always issues with the babies. :-)
Can u please share the list of things you plan to take to india for Tanaaz?

Howz Nitya doing?Looks like we all moms have the same way of thinking like going to India for the 1st B'Day..
well i am leaving on 3rd Aug and i will be going for 3 mons..i am going thru singapore airlines to chennai..where will u be going?i heard a lot frm my friends that SA is the best Airlines for babies ,Flight attend really take good care of the baby when u need a break esp travelling alone..
As of the Visa i have taken PIO card for Tanaaz.Itz 15 yrs of validity,itz kinda of dual citizenship ,u stay for long time study are anything like an Indian but only thing u cant vote..My preferrence wud be to go for PIO cuz prev it was $1000 and now it has reduced to $155 and moreover u dont have to renew it every 5 yrs...once for all itz will be done..In california it takes round abt a month to get the PIO card i donno how much will take over there..anyway u can ask indian consulate..
Things i am taking to india wud be,
1.Diaper
2.Gerber food(just for the inital days till she gets back frm jetlag and used indian food)
3.Rice ceareal,oatmeal,Barely,MixedGrain(i heard indian ceareals r not as good as gerber, cerelac is kinda of very sweet)
4.Tylenol,Pediacare,Pedialyte
5.Lubridem
6.Desitin
7.Baby oil
8.Gerber Snacks(puff,Biter Bis,cherrios)take only if Nitya likes it.
9.food Processor(make my own baby food)
10.Dove body wash
11.saline spray
12.just 2 pack of wipes(whenever we go out)in house we can always wash it
13.Mosqito Repellent(spray r tablet)
14.some toys
15.copy of medical report

This is what i am taking ,again u can always take wut all u need for nitya,Regarding water use the one called Avian Mineral water which is originally frm france the rest u cant always trust it might be a regular tap water..be4 take off i am planning to give Tanaaz .8ml of children's Benadrly
which is safe on babies this was suggested by her pedia again ask to Nitya's pedi..u get baby meal in the flight fresh r gerber bottles..i hope this helps if u need more info i am always here for u ...luv to Nitya
