Sorry for the late reply.Sasmeta keeps me occupied the whole day and i hardly find time to browse.
1.I didn't do anything to prevent mosquito bites.I just used goodnight mat and mosquito net for her.
2.I used full covered dresses too.But still mosquito used to bite her.I used to wear frocks in the day time and in the night full covered dress as she used to sleep in the AC.If u use AC u can avoid mosquito bites to and extent.
3.Yes i used mineral water and i boiled it and kept it in a big flask for the entire trip.
4.No i didn't use diapers for 24 hrs.I used only in the night time.In the morning i used to wear shorts for her.But she used to wet very often.So it was a very big work for me to clean and change her dress all the time.But still its good not to wear diapers in the day time as it will be hot there and she may feel uncomfortable.
5.I went in lufthansa.Sasmeta fitted well into the bassinet but it was small that she couldn't turn a lot.I think it will fit for ur kids too.
6.She lost her weight because she stoped drinking my milk as soon as i went there.As there were lots of people arround her she easily got distracted and said no to food and then go play with them.Also we travelled a lot and as it was summer she lost her color and may be also due to the change of water and pollution.
Ashra before travelling to india i went to the doctor and asked all my doubts.As the doctor was an indian he cleared all my doubts regarding my travel.So it is better to fix an appointment and the doctor will let u know what to do and what not to.
Sasmeta was 8 months old when i came back to US.But still she was quite in the flight playing with us and co passengers.Also our doctor asked us to give small amount of Benedryl if she was very fuzzy.So this made her to sleep for atleast 3-5 hrs during the flight trip.
Nick my daughter got adjusted with the change of climate.To be frank i was not able to tolerate the hot climate there.But she was ok with it.
She fell sick only when there was a change of climate in chennai(when it rained in summer).She got slight fever and was gone once i gave tylnol.
