I had a haircut at my regular parlor recently. I had been usiing that parlor for three years. the stylist use to comment on my hair that it is thinning/too many split hairs like that. I always got it trimmed at the ends only (once in two months). recently I got a job and I thought it is taking too much time for my hair care. SO I decided to get long layer style. I told the same to the stylist. she agreed and commented that it would suit me well. She started cutting in the back and I did not notice any thing bad. But by the time she started in the front, I relaised that it is too short. I asked her to stop, but it was too late. I scolded her but she said, the hair is thin and she had no other alternative. I felt bad because she did not inform me about the length. my friends commented that hair is looking good after the cut. but i am not convinced with the stylist. i feel cheated. Similar instances happended to my other friends also. why do they do like this for thier clients? Sekar replied. Hello,

First of all, be happy that your friends have complimented on your new hairstyle. Sometimes unknowingly (miscommunication or assumptions) make such things happen. Anyway, the hair will grow sooner and because of your 3 year acquiantance, may be the stylist took some liberty.

In my opinion, these things happen very commonly to men. I had one such experience, where I wanted a decent short haircut but the stylist/barber cut very short.

for men, it' s ok, but for women it' s really a disturbing thing.
