Hi people,

This is the 1st time I have joined in, though i have been reading ur messages for some time now. I have been married for over a year now. Hubby and me planning a baby now. I am fairly uneducated in these matters. This has been my 2nd cycle. Have 30/31 day cycle normally. In April (my period was on 2nd Apr) we had it on 16th April, but still got my period on 2nd May. This month did it on 13th and 17th May. What worried me is that I was extremely dry this month, unlike last month. Could this be bcoz it is so hot here (in Mumbai) Can this happen. I am quite tense, coz i am 35 and feel my time is running out.

Pls help.

Luv,
PA

Hello,

Since u have just begun ttc and u r 35, try naturally to conceive for six months using the right dates for IC. If nothing happens after six months of trying naturally, I suggest u see a doctor u will check u physically plus yr hormones and your husband's sperm sample to know that u both are healthy and your hormones are in order. If not in order, doctor can prescribe some medication to help u to conceive.

Now coming to first part that is ttc naturally for six months,Since your cycles are regular having lenght of 30-31 days, u need to have IC on 13th 15th 16th and 17th day of your cycle. U r having intercourse only once or twice and that too either early or late. So please keep in mind that IC needs to be frequent during your fertile days.

In order to have good cervical mucus( that is to have wet feeling not to feel dry, hope u understand what i mean) u need to drink lots of water , have carrot juice from 1st day of cycle till your IC days and take good diet comprisng of vegetables and fruits.

Age is not the issue . If you keep yourself fit and healthy u will conceive. Stress plays havoc with your reproductive hormones. So dont worry. I am over 35 and ttc since the last 2 years. so I know how u feel. Be patient , we can just do our duty using the right methods and approach but leave the rest to God as birth and death are not in our hands. This is what i say from my experience.

So cheer up. Keep trying.

Any questions feel free to ask.

All the best

Madhu

Hey, Hope you are doing well. Well don't Worry. Somethings are unplanned. You don't need to worry about it. When there will be right time for it, You will conceive. there is no fixed right time.
