I want to know why men should not have a long hair?
Ram Singh replied. No body has said men should not have long hair. Most of our Rishis, greats like Rabindranath Tagore, Swami Chinmayananda had long hair. And of course all keshadhari sikhs have long hair.

But the current social pattern is such that long hair on men is not liked is not liked except when he is a sikh. Also may be because it is difficult to keep long hair tidy. Schools, colleges and even many employers would not accept long haired males.

So if you like to have long hair, go ahead but take a lot of time and effort to keep it clean and without lice and dandruff.
