hey girlies,

I am due on the 3rd week of feb 2003
watz happening to this group? Doesnt seem too much interactive of late...

So..wat r u guys going thru...i hope morning sickness symptoms for most of us must have settled by now.. Please do write in with your experiences...
Lets try and make this period one of the most memorable times of our lives..

yeah sure..am waiting for that day! I still remember the day I heard the hearbeat of my little girl 3 and half yrs. earlier and saw her in scan for the first time...other than that I hardly remember anything abt. my 1'st preg. as I had severe vomiting and nausea for first and second trimesters and had a real tough time...3'rd trimester I went to my home in india.My vomiting had stopped by then and I really enjoyed that period..this time its entirely different and by God's grace I feel its going the normal way...

Hey its wonderful to see this place come to life with so many msgs getting posted...
where r u guys put up? I was at Fremont, California but now am at bangalore..enjoying my pregnancy with people back home...
Selvi...I am surprised u have not consulted any doctor as yet..I guess u must do it as soon as possible dear...
And reena...even i am going thru this phasse of feeling drained out and complete lack of energy despite the fact that i am not into too much of household chores...
Vidya..i had been to the doctor yesterday..and i have indeed gained weight..which she says is normal..infact even i lost 4 pounds during the 2nd month..so we r sailing in the same boat...
Jyothi...welcome to this date club...its indeed wonderful having u...hope to lotssssss more of interaction in the future...
take care all of u...and have fun...
hey by the way..have any of u developed any cravings..atleast i have for real salty stuff...i am freaking out on pickles of al kind...mango, tomato..u name them..lol

Hello friends,
It is really great to see u all with the same feelings. I am really happy that we will see each other thro' with all this happening \";inside\"; us. I was wondering how many sonographies are safe for the baby. I had already got two done and I am not sure in case u r going thro' the same or not. Infact the Dr. says that they are ok but u know... I am getting motherish already :-)
Any suggestions ? Are u also feeling drained out as well ? Loss of energy ?

I am in Germany. I am sure i was having a choice to deliver the baby in India (with the parents) or germany (with the husband)...
So the choice was clear Germany. Also the medical services are much better and covered well with Insurance.

Good to know... well I am in the two groups ... Feb and March and the due date is anything between 27 Feb to 4 March so I am having two message boards :-)
Yeah u r right about being tired... even I hope that this is temp. phase and it get better after the first trimester. Vomitting and nausea is really making me take a bed rest. I am not able to enter the kitchen at all. Good graciuos I have my mother-in-law here with me when I needed the most :-)
Are u staying in India ?

I've heard that sonography is harmless..I've had one sonography in my 2'nd visit and guess that I'll be having it in my next visit too.
Regarding tired feeling,yeah that's true..am feeling tired & sleepy most of the time..I guess that this too is a passing phase...btw, when is your due date ?

yes, am too hoping it will stop soon. my due date is in the 4'th week of feb.i lost 4 pounds during 2'nd month..doc.asked me to take Sustagen powder..have doc's appointment in 2 weeks time..so would know if i've gained weight..
