this is for all of us to know. Dont give professional opinion, though general discussion is ok around here. Any serious medical problem other than just common pregnancy symptoms should be addressed to your medical practioner and not here. This is a general discussion forum, dont look for professional opinion and cause an irrepairable damage to your loved one. My two cents...!!!

Ozzy replied. Doctors like archie need to be appreciated for her dedicated and sincere work here in this forum.(This means archie is a great doctor with extreme kindness to help us all. She does her job well.)
Besides it, we have other ppl giving out medical suggestions for some ER queries, what if the query-poster took the suggestion for serious and didnt take professional medical help?(This means, nothing against ppl posting their concerns and views here. SERIOUS CONDITIONS is the keyword, which means Emergency high risk situations should be taken to a medical doctor in real, which doesnt mean archie isnt capable of handling such a situation, but such situations require physical presence of the patient with archie, doesnt sound logical huh girls?)
This forum is a comfort zone, no doubt there, but serious medical conditions, should be addressed to medical practioners and archie suits the profile, no doubt there too.( This means archie is very much qualified to give expert advice and she does it the best. Serious conditions, not only requires medical advice, but also physical examination, for which one should rush to a doctor, inspite of archie helping us all here.)
But take the reality, ER conditions need immediate attention and since this is a virtual media, expecting archie to answer every ER query by the minute, wudnt be practical and i have read in many of archie's replies to address ER conditions directly to a doctor, before they wait here for a reply to their query. Time is precious in some conditions (consider a situation where someone is facing a serious medical situation and hasnt realised its severity, but waits online for her query to be answered by archie or others, what happens? Isnt time an important factor? Well if it isnt, then i would withdraw saying, good thoughts go unrecognized as usual.)

Ozzy,
Am I causing someway turmoil rather than helping ease situations out here.
I know you mentioned that I do direct cases directly to their Dr. which I think is often the best -primarily because reading problem in letter form is so different than reviewing case personally and many times suggestions would be so inappropriate due to misunderstanding what's said in letter. Although writting language speaks better than oral communication, but I think personal check up combined with letter help dissolve any clouds appearing in letter.
I do not intend to take charge of any case and try my best to offer knowledge rather than treatment. If I see something is absolutely normal and can be handles safe then I suggest but also I add a line to counter check with their Drs.
There are a few girls who may not get benefits from my replies, for example Ria. I don't remember the query but that's fair enough. It might be that I have not understood problem, or it was indeed out of my capacity. On the other hand there may be someone who gets benefited. However, I am not here to make difference with medical practice, rather to serve community to help ease their anxiety while being far from their loved ones. I know that some time even a tiniest thing get you worried and this is why forum like this one helps girl to know if it's normal and someone else also have faced situation like this.
Absolutely this forum is should not be used to treat their conditions so that be ER or routine medicines.
Ozzy your efforts to bring real point is valued.
Soni your faith if fair on the ground but Ozzy is right on her ground because sometime things are indeed of immediate concern and it could be late to watch to get my or someone's response. Of course sharing concern and getting opinion is wonderful and helpful but in concerns those can wait for a day or two.
Ozzy, Ria and Soni, I have learnt so much being here. Met not only 100s of pregnancies but those many personalities. I am sure that there were messages on other boards too that caused discomfort to the group and it's natural where there are people there are opinion's. I don't mean to grandparent type of personality but we all need to understand each other and remember that pregnancy is a phase where one can be emotional, moods can go up and down, we should be cautious that our words should not affect someone's feeling.
Three of you and others who will read this I will wish them the best in world and suggest them get the opinion and confirm them from your OB and if there is indeed painful concerning situation you will need to talk to your Dr. not to drop a message here and wait for replies. Sometime that can be so late.
Hope you all are going to be OK and no more words thrown on someone by someone. Please, be nice to each other.
Archie

hello,
i agree to soni.i am one of you. but i have to tell you onething that this forum is not only answered by archie but many other people who have experienced same kind of problem and have been thru it. you will be surprised to know that i am one such unlucky lady for whom archie advice did not work. i was lucky enough that i had my appointment to the dr next day and i was told to go for blood test and the results were horrifying. the next day i visited board, someone else with the same condition had replied the query too and it was same as mine. i felt better.
so let me tell you ozzy, sometimes dr advices does not work being a virtual media. the other thing is people here who anwer have knowledge and most of them have always said in the last sentences that talk to your dr about it. why such a fuss then.
what are you trying to prove. if archie is a dr what is she doing online answering free queries. in my family, i have 3 drs and they dont even have time to reply the emails. i doubt there itself how can archie afford to spend time on net answering queries of so many people.
i dont have any concerns about who replies my queries. what matters to me is my query has been replied and i would like to rely on them until i reach my dr.no offense to anyone here, not insulting anyone.
just my 2 cents. respect everyone opinions here and always call your dr for any medical assistance.

No names were mentioned above and if you know english, which i doubt, anyways, read it again with a pinch of brain. Doctors like archie need to be appreciated for her dedicated and sincere work here in this forum. Besides it, we have other ppl giving out medical suggestions for some ER queries, what if the query-poster took the suggestion for serious and didnt take professional medical help? ofcourse you wudnt think about all that, it shows in your unthinkable emotional nosense vocabulary. Buy yourself some brain and also a good spectacle. This forum is a comfort zone, no doubt there, but serious medical conditions, should be addressed to medical practioners and archie suits the profile, no doubt there too. But take the reality, ER conditions need immediate attention and since this is a virtual media, expecting archie to answer every ER query by the minute, wudnt be practical and i have read in many of archie's replies to address ER conditions directly to a doctor, before they wait here for a reply to their query. Time is precious in some conditions and am sure you wouldnt understand all this, coz you lack your brain.
Anyways, good lucking hunting for a brain SONI.
Ozzy.
