Thanks for your reply. My boyfriend got his haircut last week just like you had mentioned. He said he got his haircut in a local barbershop and his sides and back had been clipped totally using clippers and top also reduced very short. He is now using hairstyling gel to just spike the hair at the top. I don' t know if I should encourage him or not as he said he can maintain this cut if I like it. Sometimes it looks odd when you go with him in the bike , when I have hip length hair and he doesn' t have hair at all at the sides and back... Kumuda replied. Well, Sanjana, dont worry. He is male and can have very short hair. You are female and have long hair. The contrast is natural and is mostly the norm. Hence it is not at all odd. Sorry to say this, but the oddness is in your mind. Most onlookers would not consider it odd at all. What would be odd is a ' punk' style some boys sport - no symmetry, no style, gaudy colour etc. Your boyfriend' s style is neither odd nor punk. It is just that it is not as widely practised as other styles with more hair on the sides and back. Do one thing. Once in a while, at least in private, run your palm on his bare sides and back. You will enjoy the thrill.
Love is in giving. If he likes this style let him have it. You can learn to like it.
