Due Date Club October 2003:What are ur babies feeding schedule like?

My baby 8 months
has cereal for breatfast
fruits,etc for lunch,dinner
3 bottles of 6 ounce a day
and then he is breastfeed but he is still skinny.

What about ur little ones?

Me is also in the same boat, my baby advay is almost 8mo now and he too is skinny...How much should a 8mo be?
but doc says i have never seen an active baby like yours,.. when we had been to his ped this weekend, he did all his feats to impress the doctor and the doc had a comment like this..
she was very happy that hs was so active and in turn told me that i should match his activeness by giving him extra calories. She told me that Rice has the max calories and asked me to give him rice and dhal, if not anything else..

He is more than the 100th percentile in height for his 8 mo... and when the Ped made him stand.. she exclaimed that he looked like a i year old..!!! and becuse of hs height the weight is not seen though he is on his average weight...

hi nick,
do not worry about your baby being skinny.mine is not chubby either.being healthy is what is important.some people would add ghee and all,have not tried it.maybe u can try that.or u can include cereal in all his feedings.i give him cereal at all his feedings.

U give cereals at all his feeds, meaning he does not drink milk from the bottle?Please tell me.Because if doing like that is ok, even I want to start like that for my son.
