Hi Archie,
I developed strech marks in my lower abdomen :(

Yesterday I bought Mustella's strech mark cream from Baby R us. I dont know how much effective would it be, but what is ur opinion on this product?
What else can I do to prevent/minimize them ?

take care..

Dear all,
The messages posted on this message board are of great help, well I am from Jaipur and here the winters are very dry and i have loads of itiching. My doctor adviced me to use the calamine lotion, u too can use it if u have itiching, this will certainly help, but plz consult your doc. coconut oil is also good.

love......Akanksha

Hi Pinki,

Touchwood ! there are no ugly looking stretch marks for me....just 5-6 ..faded kinds.Things are different here,in India .They say u shud not shop before the baby`s arrival--Just the very basic .And as far as names are concerned ,since we dont know the sex of the baby I am in no mood to put double the efforts - one for boy ,one for girl u know. Nickname is " Cheeku" though:) .
I keep educating myself with babycentre dot com and ivillage .
Are u going for epidural /elective cesarean /or the normal...Do discuss
Cya

Hi dear,

I have been using coconut oil since the very beginning on my tummy and nipples. They say applying on nipples will prevent them from cracking while feeding.U can add almond oil as well.

Bye

I too have developed horrible looking dark red stretch marks in my abdomen as well as little bit in thighs also. I dont have any itching sensation & I never scratch them too. Even then its looking awkwardly dark brownish red.

My Dr recommended me to apply moisturizer or peanut butter immediately after bath & daily before sleep.

I am not sure about the cream you have told though.

How are your doing dear and How is your pg progressing ? Take good care.

Love,
Anu
