Hi Debi,
Some days back u had posted a message asking for Vistor visa details. DId your parents apply for the same, if yes have they got the Visa?? PLease help me since i'm also planning to bring my parents by March. I heard that the rules have changed since Nov.

Thanks o lot Debi. All the best for your venture. Its infact a good idea to go back to india once the baby is born. Might be this month my parents will have to go for the visa stamping. I have to start with shopping for the baby.

Infact we have decided not to bring our parents. My husband may get a transfer just after the baby's birth and there are too many issues in getting VISAs.We may take Doula service - thats also not needed, infact.

The VISA rule keeps changing - but what my understanding is that you can bring your parents for max 6 months. Its a matter of luck in getting VISAs.

All the best - hope everything will go fine with you.We have started packing up our labor bag.
