I would like to know whether sibling is a necessity of every child or not?
usha replied. Friends, just go ahead and have two kids atleast. It is fun to rear two kids together and they learn a lot growing up together. Then, go ahead and give them to play with another baby - 3rd

I think every child needs a sibling because he/she has to know sharing from childhood which is a must in everybody's life. Well wisher replied. Consult your partner and do what best suits you. Having one child or two costs almost the same. The difference comes when it comes to paying for college education. Also, think about this: What happens if one loses the only child? Will anyone be able to have child after the child bearing age? Nobody thinks in this angle nowadays. Don't be limited only to economics. I was an only child and I did wish I had a brother or sister, but even my friends who had a brother wanted a sister, and who had a sister wanted a brother! You child will want a sibling, it is natural, but you have to see how economically viable it is. while it is not necessary for a child to have a sibling, it is better. your child will always have someone by her side as she grows older. your attention will also get divided equally between your two children, so your child will not feel pressurised by too much attention. go for it!
