Hi Guys,
We took dylan to the classes where we live he loved it very nice kids interact and love the activities played. Arti i have not started swimming this month as he the swimming and the playgroup clases were both on aturday and i thought it would be too much at this age so just doing one . Look up mommy and me. com and you can enter your zipcode and see what activities are around you area for the kids they also have mommy group which would be nice for nonworking mothers.

also there will be local moms group independently operating in your community as well. i joined brahm samaj and telegu association.its really nice to see kids taking our culture. they have all kids of fun games like teaching gods names, dancing thru the tunes of our cutural music and folkdances. even though its early for our kids to join them, their exposure makes a lot of difference. nirja has learnt to keep silence whenever puja in temple starts. or whenever she sees people doing dhyana..such habits i think will make our kids come close to our cultural and respect it.
also there are some other local moms, family groups that you will find in your local indian websites or local websites,,,but there often people you will find will be americans or from different race. hardly any idians..but they too have nice activities like calling a circus clown to do some shows and sometimes drawing workshops from age 8months and up. nirja learned to use drawing pen first time there at her 11th month,,she does her drawings on aquadoodle.its fun for them.at first she used to eat the pen.and because they are mostly family based meetings, often they have bbq parties or such get together in parks on weekends.so good for family fun.

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
