am a pure vegetarian from south india.i never even ate egg till now.i am bit underweight and weak.so doctor told me to eat egg everyday to get healthy.i have no idea how to do it as i never did it.

is boiled egg healthy or eating as amlet healthy? i heard yellow part in egg contains lot of cholestrol, not good for health and it should be avoided.is it true? should i boil egg, remove yellow part and then eat it? will i get all protiens then? or will i lose it with yellow part.somebody please help me.waiting for reply.thank you.

Maybe you should change your doctor? Obviously, your doctor is not vegetarian. If you eat a variety of fruits, vegetables, dal, and whole grain, you should be healthy. You shouldn't need to eat eggs for that. I'm sure you'll find a lot of information about a healthy vegetarian diet on the web.

Yes, egg yolk is high in cholesterol. I do eat eggs occasionally, but I'm very disappointed that your doctor, instead of telling you exactly what you need, wants you to convert from being a strict vegetarian.

Hi Gita,
If u trying to eat egg,i think omlet is the best way to get started because it will be tastier than the boiled egg and use ginger garlic paste while mixing the egg so that u won't get the smell..

hi thank you for suggestion.yesterday i boiled egg and had it for first time in my life.it was not too bad.i was able to eat it without any vomitting sensation or anything.but i am still confused whether omlet is healthy or bolied egg is healthy? does egg yolk contain lot of cholestrol? i should avoid it? or it contains all protiens? please somebody clarify my doubts.
