I live in Hyderabad and I was wondering if any single parents in the city would be interested in forming a support group where we could meet, discuss issues (or just talk about the latest book we' ve read!), have our children meet each other etc. We could benefit from a ' play circle' where we can have each take turns looking after the kids so that the rest of the parents can perhaps go out for an evening. Tell me what you think of this idea!!!

I wanted to state that my son, who is 4 years old, is feeling lonely as he has no friends to play with and is seldom very dull concerning this matter. I am single parent too. Separated. Have a 10 year old son. Going thru legal framework.Only god knows for how many years.

The idea mooted is a brilliant one and would surely benefit the children immensely, apart from us.

please give particulars of such a group.

Now planninig to settle down here for a year or 2.My son in 51/2 yr old ,very cute boy ,but over active .
